Hallowes Golf Club is located in Dronfield. Nestled between Sheffield & Chesterfield.A popular and beautiful location with stunning views across the Yorkshire & Derbyshire Countryside. Established in 1892, a parkland course with undulating greens provides a challenging test for golfers of all standards.


Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate for the position of Course Manager will enjoy an autonomous working environment with scope for flexible working in an area perfect for raising a family. This role is permanent and full time. You will also have the opportunity to leave your stamp on what is already a stunning 18 hole course. Hallowes Golf Club is an equal opportunities employer.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a first rate track record in course management, budgeting and team building skills, and have relevant greenkeeping experience and qualifications.Minimum Requirements:
- A Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Sports Turf Management
- PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying certification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Course Manager/Head Greenkeeper or Deputy
- Experience in all aspects of golf course development
- Proven experience of financial & course maintenance budget management
- Experience of managing and leading teams
- Good working knowledge of golf course maintenance and machinery
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Great team player with a passion for golf
- Hands on approach with a can do attitude
- Outstanding planning skills
- Takes pride from the success of the team

- Consults with the team before making decisions
