Our Club Officials for 2026
We’re delighted to introduce you to our 2026 Club Officials, who will each bring their own passion towards continuing the growth of Hallowes Golf Club.
Men’s Captain – Mark Dunkey
Hallowes Golf Club has been a huge part of my life for over 30 years, and it is a tremendous honour to serve as your Club Captain.
Having lived in Dronfield most of my life, and after attending Gosforth and Henry Fanshawe schools, I moved to Derby for 20 years while proudly retaining my membership at the club.
As Captain for 2026, my aims are to build enthusiasm and strong support for our First Team, raise as much as possible for our nominated charities, and represent the club in the very best way, both on and off the course.
I look forward to playing with and meeting as many members as possible during the year.

Ladies Captain – Marcia Burke
I have been a member of Hallowes Golf Club since 2020, having joined through the Academy. It is a great honour to serve as your Lady Captain for the 2026 season.
Since joining, I have aimed to get to know and play with as many members as possible, and I intend to continue this throughout the year. I will be adding my name to empty tee sheets and would warmly welcome any member, from any section of the club, to join me for a round.
I also look forward to supporting and working alongside my fellow Captains and members to raise much needed funds for our chosen charities, and I will represent the club to the very best of my abilities.
